It is matchday nine in the Genero Adran Premier this Sunday, as The New Saints Women welcome Pontypridd United to Park Hall Stadium.

The New Saints are in fifth in the Adran Premier on nine points, with this weekend’s opponents Pontypridd sitting on ten points in fourth, both teams have played eight matches.

In the last round of fixtures, The Saints won 3-2 against Barry Town United at Jenner Park, as the Dragons got a 1-1 draw at USW Sports Park against Cardiff City.

TNS won one, drew one and lost two against Pontypridd last season.

The latest meeting between the two teams (April 3, 2022) was a 3-1 victory for the Oswestry-based side in the penultimate game of last season’s Genero Adran Premier Campaign in south Wales. Goals for TNS that day were scored by Emily Ridge, Georgia Griffiths from the penalty spot and Caitlin Chapman.

Greg Draper’s side will in green and white hooped shirts, while the goalkeeper’s will be in an all-yellow kit.

James Fishlock’s team are set to wear an all-orange outfit, the keepers are going to be in an all-green kit.

The officials are as follows: Alex Livesey (referee), Gavin Maloney and Levi Roberts (assistant referees).
