As is always the case, when we stay overnight prior to a game the next day we do an interview.

This time round we sat down with club legend, Simon Spender, at the Diplomat Hotel in Llanelli, where we are spending the night prior to tomorrow’s JD Cymru Premier game against Haverfordwest County.

Since hanging up his boots – or so he thought – he has played for Airbus UK Broughton and now he’s back on the pitch with The New Saints.

His main focus nowadays though is coaching and we also discuss that in the interview, which you can watch in full below.
