It’s FAW Women’s Cup action for The New Saints this weekend, as they welcome Airbus UK Broughton to Park Hall.

Going into the game on the back of two consecutive victories in the league, confidence is most certainly high, but both the players and staff will be wary of taking their foot off the gas.

The Wingmakers play their football in the Genero Adran North, which is the second tier of women’s football in Wales, and as a result, will be underdogs on Sunday. That means, however, that they’ve got nothing to lose, as they look to pull off an upset.

Ahead of the round one tie, The Saints’ head coach, Andy Williams, held his pre-match press conference earlier today.
