The New Saints Women travel to the Pen-Y-Pound Stadium to take on Abergavenny on Sunday (October 2) in Andy Williams’ side’s fourth game of the Genero Adran Premier Campaign.

Last time out, The New Saints claimed a first three points of the season in a 3-0 victory against Aberystwyth Town at Park Hall Stadium (September 25).

On the same day, the Pennies lost 3-2 at home against Barry Town United.

In the Adran Premier table, The Saints are sixth on three points, while Josh Anderson’s Monmouthshire-based team are bottom of the pile after failing to pick up a point from the first games.

This may be the first competitive meeting, however there was two friendlies between the teams in the summer of 2017 which finished one win each. TNS won 1-0 away at Abergavenny, while the Butchers were 2-0 victors in the other fixture at Morda.

Andy Williams’ team will be in green and white hooped shirts with white shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be in a all-yellow strip.

Last season’s Adran South title victors, Abergavenny are set to wear an all-dark blue kit, keepers are set to be in all-green.

The officials are as follows: Teifion Cook (referee), Liam Williams and Sam Lloyd (assistant referees).
