Always looking to strengthen his squad, Craig Harrison was delighted with the addition of ex-Newcastle United winger, Adam Wilson, who put pen-to-paper on a deal yesterday.

A day later, and we conducted our first interview with Adam, in Newport, where we are spending the night ahead of tomorrow’s JD Cymru Premier MD5 game against Pontypridd United.

Prior to the evening meal, we chatted about his career with The Magpies, that began when he was still in primary school.

From the development centre, he went on to sign for the club’s academy system.

Going on to feature in the English Premier League 2, as well as the English Football League Trophy, Wilson also played for England at U-18 level.
