We End The Season With Eighty Points
In the post-match interview with Anthony Limbrick, the first question that we asked was would you have taken eighty points before the season began?
With ninety-six up for grabs, it means that we only dropped sixteen in thirty-two games.
As a fan, are you happy with that?
Wrapping Up The Campaign With A Win
The 3-1 scoreline against Caernarfon Town hides the fact that we dominated the game and hit the woodwork on several occasions, including a Declan McManus penalty that, quite literally, ratted the crossbar.
The visitors scored with the final touch of the game, there wasn’t even time for a restart.
However, it was a good performance and a victory to keep the confidence high for next Sunday’s JD Welsh Cup final.
Tom Williams
Naturally, today’s attention was on Paul Harrison, but it was great to see Tom Williams come off the bench in the second-half.
He certainly didn’t look out of place, either.
Another product of the club’s Academy system, Tom played in the recent history-making development side, who won the FAW Youth Cup for the first time ever.

Today was also tinged with sadness as club legend, Paul Harrison, played his last game for The New Saints.
What a career he’s had and even with just league games alone, today was his 466th appearance.
There was a guard of honour from both sides, as H made his way out of the tunnel prior to kick-off.
Thank you for everything, Paul, you have been a real ambassador for The New Saints, both on and off the pitch.
They Think It’s All Over, It’s Not Quite
Although the league season has now been completed, as mentioned previously we have the JD Welsh Cup final to look forward to on May 1.
After a couple of barren years, with Covid causing more than its fair share of disruption to the domestic game in Wales, it would great to get back on track and sign off with a double.
Standing between us and the trophy that we are currently the holders of, is Penybont FC.
