Following the 2-1 victory at Flint Town United last Friday, the league leaders are at home this time round, as we welcome Bala Town to Park Hall on Tuesday, March 8.

Although it’s the 24th game of the season for both sides, it is officially JD Cymru Premier MD25.

It’s a first versus second encounter but there is a considerable gap (twenty-four points) between the teams in the table.

If The New Saints win the game, although nothing will be decided on the night as far as the ultimate prize is concerned, nevertheless it would be a positive step towards a record-breaking 14th title.

The previous Park Hall game against the Lakesiders was on October 12 last year, when TNS came from behind to win 2-1.

A first-half Chris Venables penalty was cancelled by two late (80, 90+5) goals  from Ryan Brobbel, as the victory meant a seven-points lead was established at the top of the JD Cymru Premier.

On Tuesday, The New Saints will be wearing green and white hooped shirts, green shorts and white socks. The goalkeepers will be in yellow and black shirts with black shorts and socks.

Nick Pratt will be the referee, assisted by Lewiss Edwards and Johnathon Bebee-Bryant. The fourth official will be Cheryl Foster and Nathan Brearley the referee observer.
