The New Saints FC Women are set to play Cardiff Met WFC this Sunday (February 27) in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals at Park Hall Stadium.

Andy Williams’ team got past Connah’s Quay Nomads Women 4-0 and received a bye in the quarter-finals, after Port Talbot Ladies pulled out to reach this stage in the competition.

Izzy Taylor’s side have knocked out Llandudno Ladies 8-0 and were victorious over Swansea City Ladies on penalties in the quarters to get to the semi-finals. Both of the Archers’ matches took place at Cyncoed Campus.

In the first match of the season between the two teams in the Genero Adran Premier, Met won 2-0. The return fixture at Park Hall Stadium finished 6-2 to Taylor’s players, although The Saints were 2-1 at half-time during that game.

The side from the capital  are currently on a 10-match winning streak and are third in the Adran Championship. TNS are eight in the Adran Plate standings.

Williams’ players will be in a green and white hooped shirt with white shorts and socks with the goalkeepers in an all-yellow kit.

The students will be in an all-dark navy kit. The keepers will be in an all-light green outfit.

The officials are as follows: Mark James (referee), Charley Smith and Katie Hannah (assistant referees).

Kick-off is at 2:00 p.m. If you are not able to make it to Park Hall, you can follow live updates as always on The New Saints FC Women’s Twitter page.
