With the JD Cymru Premier starting again in January, after a break over the festive period, back-to-back wins for The New Saints have earned Anthony Limbrick the Manager Of The Month (MOTM) award.

The 3-1 home victory against Connah’s Quay Nomads on January 21, was followed a week later by a 4-0 on the road at Caernarfon.

The win at The Oval meant that, come the final whistle, The New Saints had extended the lead at the top to seventeen points.

At the time of writing, that is now twenty-one.

We spoke to our head coach after training today, who told us:

“I’m honoured to have been awarded the January MOTM award, many thanks to everyone involved in the process.

“I want to acknowledge the staff – both on and off the pitch – here at The New Saints; without their hard work it would not have been possible.

“Finally, it’s important to recognise the players and their role, as they’ve been working extremely hard in training and delivering both performances and results on the pitch.”
