It’s been a good week for The New Saints FC Women, after Sunday’s 2-0 victory against Port Talbot Town lifted them off the bottom of the Genero Adran Premier.

It’ll be a tough ask to repeat that feat this weekend though, when Andy Williams’ side travel to leaders, Swansea City, for their final fixture in phase one.

The Swans haven’t lost a league game in more than three years, although they did drop their first points of the season against Aberystwyth last time out – a result that proves the challenge isn’t insurmountable.
