Following The New Saints’ penalty shootout victory against Carmarthen Town, this evening, the JD Welsh Cup quarter-final draw was made live on the FAW’s Youtube channel.

The Saints were handed a home tie against local JD Cymru North side, Guilsfield, in the last eight of the competition.

Nathan Leonard’s side were 2-1 victors away at Swansea University this past weekend, and have also recorded wins against Dinas Powys and Llandudno Albion in previous rounds.

The draw also means a Park Hall return for TNS legend, Greg Draper, who joined the Guils last summer and is set to face his former side for the first time.

The tie is scheduled to be played on the weekend of February 18/19 2022, with full details announced once they’re confirmed.
