On Sunday (October 17), The New Saints Women take on Cardiff City Women at Park Hall Stadium in the second round of the FAW Women’s Welsh Cup.

The New Saints reached this staged of the competition after a 3-0 win over Wrexham AFC Women at Colliers Park, meanwhile Cardiff City were victorious 9-1 over Caldicot Town FC Women.

In the Genero Adran Premier standings, Cardiff are currently sitting second while The Saints are bottom.

The most recent matches for both teams were both in the league on Sunday. The Bluebirds claimed a 2-1 win over Pontypridd Town AFC Women at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium. TNS lost 2-0 against Port Talbot Ladies at Victoria Road.

Andy Williams’ team will be in an all-dark blue kit. Iain Darbyshire’s side will wear a pink shirt with black shorts and socks.
