This weekend is JD Welsh Cup round four action for the teams still left in the competition. Following the 1-0 victory at Y Morfa against Conwy Borough in the previous round, The New Saints travel to second-tier opposition again.
This time it’s a trip across country as we take on JD Cymru South side, Carmarthen Town.
The Old Gold, who were relegated a couple of seasons ago following a twenty-four year stint in the top-flight, are familiar opponents for TNS.
They’ve already seen off JD Cymru Premier opposition, with a 5-4 penalty shoot-out win at Latham Park in round three, following no goals in open play.
Prior that, while TNS coasted past Llanrwst United, courtesy of a 6-0 scoreline, Carmarthen edged Trethomas Bluebirds 2-1.
The New Saints will be in the traditional green and white hooped shirts, white shorts and socks. The ‘keepers will be wearing red and blue shirts with red shorts and socks.
The officials are as follows: Richard Harrington (referee), Johnathon Bebee-Bryant and James Sheils (assistant referees) and Joshua Howells (fourth official).
Kick-off is 2.30 p.m.
