LATEST NEWS

This coming Friday (September 24), it’s back to JD Welsh Cup action for the JD Cymru Premier leaders, as we travel to Y Morfa, the home of Conwy Borough.

The New Saints went into the third round draw courtesy of a 6-0 win against third tier Llanrwst United on September 4. The Tangerines reached that stage via a 3-2 home victory, with Cefn Albion the visitors to the north Wales coast.

Although there have been no finals for two seasons, the JD Welsh Cup currently resides at Park Hall, as TNS beat Connah’s Quay Nomads 3-0 in the final game of the 2018/19 season.

Conwy Borough sit in mid-table in the JD Cymru North, with twelve points from ten games. They’re currently on a run of five games with no win, however, having picked up just two points from a potential fifteen.

Anthony Limbrick’s side, on the other hand, have sixteen points from six games, scoring fifteen goals in the process.

The New Saints will be wearing the black and grey kit, with the goalkeepers in blue and green shirts with blue shorts and socks.

The officials are as follows: Nick Pratt (referee), Andy Harms and Connor Fowler (assistant referees) and James Walker (fourth official).

Due to no power access in the press box, TNS Radio will be covering the game but starting after the opening whistle in order to ensure that we can continue to the end. You can listen via our Facebook page or website home page.

Kick-off is 7.45 p.m. In the event of no outright winner after ninety minutes, there will be extra-time and then, if needed, penalties.*

* Subsequent information confirms that the game will go straight to penalties if the scores are level after ninety minutes.
