This afternoon, our Head of Women and Girls’ Football, Andy Williams, joined BBC Radio Shropshire to discuss his new role with The New Saints FC.

Chatting with Mark Elliott, Andy discussed his impressive CV within the game, having worked with the likes of England internationals Wayne Rooney and Connor Coady previously, while also coaching Liverpool Ladies in the WSL.

Williams, who was the TNS Ladies manager during the 2017/2018 season, also spoke about his return to the club – how it came about, and what the new role entails – as well as our recruitment drive to encourage new players to join our senior women’s team next season.
