The New Saints FC Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new partnership with LLS, which is set to provide unique educational opportunities for school leavers in and around Oswestry. 

The innovative sports industry programme, especially designed with young people who have aspirations of working in professional sport in mind, is the first of its kind in the United Kingdom and is complimentary to LLS’ already outstanding post-16 multi sports programme, which has been running successfully since the company was founded back in 2008.

Based at The Grove Academy in Market Drayton, and limited to just 10 spaces for September 2021, successful applicants will gain a valuable Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development, taught by LLS. 

Combined with their studies, young people will have the unique opportunity to work alongside TNS FC Foundation staff, assisting with their ongoing community sports and youth provisions, as well as the chance to coach in an elite football environment with The New Saints Academy or work alongside our team of performance analysts and physiotherapists. 

Students enrolled on the two-year programme have the potential to earn paid internships with The New Saints FC and The New Saints FC Foundation, paid global coaching roles through LLS, and even the opportunity to progress to University. 

Both males and females are equally welcome to apply for this exciting opening and for those interested in learning more about the course, LLS will be holding a virtual open evening on Thursday April 1st 2021, where school leavers will get the chance to have any of their questions answered.
