LATEST NEWS

Tomorrow (Sunday, September 20), it’s back to domestic action for The New Saints, as Cardiff Metropolitan University FC are the visitors to Park Hall.

This weekend is MD3, but it will be TNS’ second game, due to the UEFA Europa League adventure in the Faroe Islands.

It’s very early days, of course, but we go into the fixture as the only club with a 100% JD Cymru Premier record, although Cefn Druids are still looking to get their season going.

Following the disappointment of the aforementioned trip to Tórshavn, Scott Ruscoe will be looking for an immediate response from his players. Watch Scott’s Cardiff Met press conference, as he looks ahead to the game.

At the time of writing, The Archers head into the fixture unbeaten and in third place, just above The New Saints. Like TNS, they got their season off to a good start, scoring three on the road as they beat Aberystwyth Town 3-2.

They then surrendered their perfect start to the campaign with a 0-0 against new boys, Haverfordwest County, at Cyncoed.

Cardiff Met have a good track record at Park Hall in recent seasons. They remain unbeaten in their last three league visits, with two draws (3-3 and 1-1) and a victory (2-1) in the last game between the sides, in December 2019.

The officials for tomorrow are as follows: Cheryl Foster (referee), John Bryant and Connor Thomas (assistant referees) and Aaron Wyn Jones (4th official).

There is a 2.30 p.m. kick-off time, and in line with current regulations, will again be played behind-closed-doors. You can, however, follow the action via our Twitter account, as well as commentary on TNS Radio. The link for the latter is on the home page of our website and we look forward to your company.
