Central defender, Adam Hughes, has gone on loan (subject to international clearance) until January 2021 to Marine FC. The club plays in the Northern Premier League Division One North West, and prior to his signing for The New Saints FC from Warrington Town, Adam spent two seasons at Rossett Park.

We spoke to Hughes, who was obviously happy at the prospect of playing regular football again: “I’m buzzing to be back at Marine. I know the place really well and I can’t wait to get going, hopefully to help them get back up into the league above.”

In addition, Scott Ruscoe shared his thoughts on the move: “Adam will go out on loan and play games for Marine. He needs to play consistently and this will help him gain match fitness and sharpness.”
