Following the disappointing Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup third round defeat against Stenhousemuir, it’s a swift return to action for The New Saints as Newtown make the visit to Park Hall on Tuesday.

With results going in their favour over the weekend, a victory for Scott Ruscoe’s side in the JD Cymru Premier matchday five fixture would see them climb to the top of the league table for the first time this season.

We caught up with the TNS manager ahead of the fixture, as he held his regular pre-match press conference, where he shared his thoughts ahead of the meeting with the Robins.
