As a keen naturalist I do love our feathered friends and even when I’m at a football game I’m still switched on to what’s going on around me. I’ve seen – and heard – some decent birds over the years but Fortuna the Ludogorets mascot is on another level.

A gift from Lazio, it really is an impressive sight, and as she made her entry to the ground by the press box area I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to get some footage. The lead image is courtesy of Brian Jones.
