While we were in Scotland, taking on Rangers in the final game before the UEFA Champions League kicks-off next Tuesday, the Nathaniel MG Cup draw took place.

Rounds one and two were conducted at the same time, and with The New Saints FC entering the competition at the latter, our opponent will be the winner of the Conwy Borough v Bangor City game.

The first round fixtures will be played the first weekend in August, with the second round taking place a week later. Details will be confirmed in due course, all that is set in stone at the moment is that the reigning JD Welsh Premier League champions and JD Welsh Cup holders face a trip to the north Wales coast.
