LATEST NEWS

With the first competitive game of the season almost upon us, when the champions of Kosovo, Feronikeli FC, visit Park Hall, The New Saints FC’s first team squad and players are currently in Scotland.

Leaving Park Hall early afternoon, a road trip to Warrington Bank Quay was followed by a train journey to Glasgow. Having played one behind-closed-doors and four open friendlies to date, the purpose of our journey to Scotland is the former, as the side gets its final workout before the UEFA Champions League game next Tuesday.

The details of the friendly are not being disclosed to the public, as is common practice in these type of games, for various reasons. However, we will be bringing basic details after the game, albeit with no score, as per FAW rules in these type of fixtures.

In recent years, The New Saints FC has played several teams north of the English border both in competitive games, courtesy of the Irn-Bru Cup, and in friendlies. Opponents have included Aberdeen, Hearts, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Rangers and Queen’s Park.

We have created a photograph album on our Facebook page of our time in Scotland, as well as producing a couple of videos that you can view below.
