It’s that time of the year again when clubs in the Welsh domestic system apply for the upcoming season’s licence. With 2019/2020 European football already guaranteed for The New Saints of Oswestry Town, it wasn’t just the FAW Tier 1 but also the UEFA Licence that was part of our submission.
Today, along with other clubs, we received the verdict on our applications and we are extremely pleased to announce that we have secured licences on both fronts.
Everyone at the club is extremely appreciative of the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes regarding the positive outcome.
“We are extremely pleased to have once again achieved both the UEFA and FAW Tier 1 licences. Our success on the pitch is mirrored by the standards off it and club licensing has played a major part in this process” said Ian Williams, the club’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Ever since licensing was introduced, we have been awarded both each year and everyone at the club is once again delighted. Our Chairman Mike Harris, Helen Harris, our Finance Director and myself pride ourselves on our achievements as a club, which is very much a team effort” he concluded.
