On Saturday evening, we welcomed 25 players and their families from the Welshpool Ladies’ girls’ team to Park Hall for our encounter with Llanelli Town.

The players are part of the FAW CICS scheme – a project that sees our Foundation team supporting grassroot clubs to create sustainable and long-lasting sporting opportunities for females of all abilities.
The group sees up to 40 participants every Tuesday at The Flash Leisure Centre in Welshpool, and all 25 enjoyed a mini-football festival prior to the game, before having a hot meal and then mascoting the first-team players.

At half-time, all joined our ever-growing crossbar challenge competition, with the eventual winner being Mollie.
Before they left, four of the girls joined TNS Radio to talk about their experiences. You can view more images HERE via our Facebook page album.
