Earlier today (Sunday, October 22 2017), the Professional Phase players travelled to Llandudno in the Welsh Premier Development League looking to preserve their 100% record.

We knew the game would be our most difficult to date, which wasn’t helped by the difficult conditions. Some fantastic defending and a great strike by Callum Jones saw us go into the break at 1-0.
It was the first time we found ourselves in at half-time not having completely controlled proceedings due to a well organised Llandudno side.
Second half, we were able to play with the wind, and a great Rob Reynolds header sealed the game and a 2-0 away victory to remain unbeaten and top of the table.
Credit to Llandudno who certainly should be higher in the league and now we look forward to welcoming Tranmere Rovers and Llay United for friendly fixtures on Thursday. This will be followed by IDP work on the Friday, in preparation for Sunday’s Welsh Youth Cup second round against Llandudno.
It was also pleasing to see the boys adapt with numerous key players missing due to England trials and holiday, but again truly shows the strength in depth we possess.
The boys will now have a well-deserved few days off to recover and continue to work on their specific IDP and strength and conditioning exercises.
