As the countdown to the new season can now be measured in hours, not just days, today (Wednesday, August 9) we have been at the Eisteddfod on Anglesey for the league launch.

Now known as the JD Welsh Premier League, the new sponsors were announced late morning. As the current reigning league champions, The New Saints FC would like to extend a very warm welcome to JD Sports, as they increase their involvement in the domestic game.

With a player from each of the twelve top-flight teams in attendance, TNS was represented by Aeron Edwards. We chatted with the star midfielder after the photograph and interview sessions and you can listen to that below.
