The New Saints owner Mike Harris says the entire Welsh Premier League would “like a tenth of the money” given to the side that finishes bottom of the English Premier League club to share between the whole league.

Harris believes that his club, whose most expensive match-day ticket is £8, offers great value for money for families who can “virtually roll up on the gate”.

BBC Sport’s Price of Football 2015 study revealed that the cost of watching football in the UK has dropped or remained the same for the majority of fans.
