The New Saints Community Foundation is looking to expand their team with a number of talented and experienced coaches. The role requires some flexibility and involves delivery of sessions in and around the area of Oswestry, including but not limited to:
Weston Rhyn
Chirk
Gobowen
St.Martins
Rural Oswestry.
The role is on an ad hoc basis, coaches will be contacted as and when needed, with at least 2 weeks notice with a view to being added to a permanent coaching timetable. Hours will based on and around a school day, with some weekend work required to assist with events to promote the Foundation.
The hours for which we are looking for session cover will typically be between 12.30pm and 7.30pm Monday to Friday, to include session set up. Weekend hours between 10am and 4pm may also be required, to fit in with our attendance at events. There may also be some cover required during a school day to assist with diversionary activities with schools. There will also be some cover required to deliver our football birthday party experience.
PLEASE NOTE: We encourage applicants to apply who are able to commit to these hours on a regular basis only.
To be considered for this role the following are required:
Essential
DBS Checked Safe guarding and Child protection qualified Multi-Sport Coach Qualifications Experience of working and coaching children from 6 – 19 years of age
First Aid Trained

Friendly and approachable Committed and reliable
Interview Process
If you are successful at application, you will be invited to interview; you should bring all evidence of qualifications with you.
If successful at interview coaches will be asked assist sessions with one of our coaches and you may also be asked to take lead on this session to demonstrate your experience and skills. This will be reviewed after a 3 month period.
