The New Saints have been drawn against Airbus UK in the second round of the Word Cup.

The Saints will take on the Wingmakers at Park Hall Stadium with the game to be played on either the 2nd or 3rd of September.

The draw was conducted by WPL Chairman Peter Rees and Wales International Defender Danny Gabbidon.

Four extra teams entered the round following their success in the 2013/14 competition which included Carmarthen Town (Winners), Bala Town (Runners-Up), Airbus UK Broughton and Cambrian & Clydach (both Semi-Finalists).

2013/14 Winners Carmarthen have a home draw against Penybont and last season’s runners-up Bala Town are away to Aberystwyth Town who were runners-up in FAW Welsh Cup back in May.

Also, last season’s Fans Goal of the Season Winner, Danny Hughes gets to face his former teammates as his new club Llandudno host Rhyl at Maes Du on their new 3G surface.
