Park hall Stadium hosted the Inter Schools’ Final Weekend

The event was played at the home of the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Champions.

A number of teams participated on both the Saturday the 11th of May as well as the Sunday the 12th of May and the event was considered a great success.

The first match of the weekend was between the Prestatyn Under 14 Girls team and the Dyffryn Port Talbot Under 14 Girls.

The match kicked off at 12pm and Prestatyn won the match 4-1.

The next match was between Under 18 Boys teams.

Olchfa and Brynhyfryd kicked off at 2pm and after finishing the match with the score tied at one each, Olchfa won a dramatic penalty shoot-out, 4-3.

 The last match of the day was between Dyffryn Port Talbot and Eifionydd.

The match kicked off at 4pm and Eifionydd cruised to a 7-0 victory in this Under 14 Girls fixture.

There were another three games on the Sunday.  After kicking off at 11am Connah’s Quay successfully beat Bishopston by three goals to one.

Shortly after the Under 12 Boys had finished, it was time for the Under 19 Boys Colleges to showcase their talents.

The match started at 12:45pm and Coleg Menai defeated Gower Colleges by three goals to two.

The final match of what was a wonderful weekend was a Under 16 Boys contest between Pentrehafod and Dyffrn Aman.

The match kicked off at 3pm and the Pentrehafod side thrashed Dyffryn Amanby five goals to one.
