His Highness Sheikh Abdul Fyad was extremely delighted at the performance of The New Champions of the Welsh Premier League following their 3-0 victory over Carmarthen Town and has expressed a keen interest to get involved with the newly crowned champions.

“I had an interesting conversation with Chairman Mike Harris and the club’s Chief Operating Officer Ian Williams when they recently visited Doha in Qatar as part of the ECA (European Club Association) fifth
anniversary general assembly”.

“Their passion for Welsh football really Inspired me to find out more, and I really enjoyed my visit to Oswestry. They have a talented team, and I’m sure with my families financial involvement, the club will be
able to compete at the highest level in European Club football”, he
concluded.

“We are extremely grateful for his highness to get involved so soon, clinching the Welsh Premier title with a month of the season still to
go, totally inspired him to get involved” enthused Mike Harris.
