A brilliant 3-0 victory in south Wales against Genero Adran Premier Plate rivals Port Talbot Town Ladies closed the gap against the Blues to two points.
After a goalless first-half, Georgia Griffiths netted from the spot with Caitlin Chapman and Lexie Harrison finding the other goals.
Andy Williams’ team are now two points behind the Blues in the fight for survival.
In the opening minutes, Helen Evans had an attempt from 25-yards out that Emily Roberts collected.
The 18th minute of the game saw Caitlin Chapman head the ball on to Georgia Griffiths in the box, as the no.7 had a shot that just went wide of the post.
Four later, Emily Ridge got on the end of an over-the-top ball and chipped the chance over Emily Roberts in to the net, however the flag went up for offside.
A minute on, Lexie Harrison Harrison had a double effort in the box with both stopped by Roberts.
Moments later, Lilly Whitefoot had an attempt from range which went over the crossbar.
Past the half hour mark, Lia Lewis hit a strike from 25-yards away that bounced over Port Talbot’s net.
Seconds after, Beth Lewis crossed in a ball that found Chapman, as the Northern Irish player hit wide of the far post.
In the 36th minute, Chapman had a free-kick from 20-yards away that dipped just over the crossbar.
Eight later, Griffiths took a free-kick from outside the box that hit the crossbar and went over.
Just before the break, Lia Lewis had an attempt from outside the penalty area that went wide of the net.
At the start of the second forty-five, the home team had a big chance. A corner found Courteney Thomas who had a header that hit the crossbar and went over.
Straight after, The Saints were up the other end of the pitch. A cross from Beth Lewis found Chapman in the box who had a shot that Roberts stopped.
In the 51st, Thomas had a header in the penalty area for the home team that Sarah Parkes palmed away.
Before the hour mark, Lilly Whitefoot got a fantastic ball in to Chapman who ran in to the box and hit wide of the net.
On the 68th minute, Chapman hit a free-kick from outside the 18-yard area which Roberts stopped.
Three later, Ridge got brought down in the box as the referee pointed to the spot. Griffiths converted the penalty that was powered down the middle of the net as TNS took the lead.
It was two straight after. Beth Lewis crossed in a ball that found Chapman in the box as the winger slotted past Roberts’ bottom-right.
In the 78th, Chapman ran in the box and shot as Roberts tipped the effort over the crossbar.
The match was sealed off with a third. Chapman passed the ball across the net to Harrison who slotted in to the middle of the goal.
TNS are next in action against Barry Town United Ladies next Sunday (20th March).
