This weekend (January 11th), The New Saints Women welcome Cardiff City to Park Hall Stadium in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals.

The New Saints go into Sunday’s match following a 7-0 win against Cambrian United at the M&P Group 3G in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup round of 16 before Christmas.

While, the Bluebirds advanced to the last eight of the competition following a 14-0 win over Trefelin on Wednesday night at Leckwith Stadium.

Cardiff reached this staged of the Adran Trophy after a 7-0 victory at home against Flint Town United, and a 6-0 victory at Llandarcy against Swansea City.

The holders beat Llanfair United 5-4 at Mount Field, that was followed by a 5-1 win against Pontypridd United at Park Hall

Last season, the Saints and Cardiff played in the Adran Trophy quarter-finals where the Oswestry based-team came out on top 1-0 thanks to an Olivia Buckland goal.

Looking at the Adran Premier table, Saints are fourth on 17 points, while Iain Darbyshire’s side are fourth on 26 points.

Kieran Lee-Birch’s TNS are to wear the traditional green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks for Sunday’s encounter, and the goalkeepers are to be in all-yellow.

Meanwhile, Cardiff will be in all-blue, and keepers are set to wear all-black.

The officials are as follows: John Jones (referee), Harvey Smallman and Rubie Bennett (assistant referees), and Nicholas Pratt (fourth official).
