After three home games on the bounce, we get November underway with a visit to Latham Park as we take on Newtown AFC.

The JD Cymru Premier MD15 encounter is the first time that our paths have crossed this season. In 2022/23 we met the Robins on five occasions in all competitions, winning four (4-1, 7-0, 1-0, 5-0) and drawing one (0-0).

After eight consecutive wins (seven in the JD Cymru Premier and one in the JD Welsh Cup), Chris Hughes’ side has stuttered of late, losing 2-1 to Cardiff Met FC and drawing with Haverfordwest County 1-1 in their last two league games.

On the other hand, the excellent run of form that The New Saints is enjoying continues, following the 6-1 win against Colwyn Bay on Tuesday just gone.

The victory extended the lead at the top of the table to six points and the unbeaten run now stands at twenty games.

On Saturday, Newtown will be in all-red with The New Saints also wearing their traditional colours of green and white hooped shirts, green shorts and socks.

The ‘keepers will be in all-black and all-purple respectively.

Iwan Griffith is the appointed referee and he will be assisted by Jordan Christopher and Cilan Thomas. Aaron Jones is the fourth official and Dean John the referee observer.
