It’s back to midweek action for The New Saints this coming Tuesday (October 31), as we take on Steve Evans’ Colwyn Bay at Park Hall in the JD Cymru Premier.
Following a successful career with TNS – both as a player and a coach – this will be Evans’ first return to the club as a lead manager.
The game, originally scheduled earlier in the month, was changed due to The New Saints’ hectic fixture list, which included three cup competitions, as well as the league.
The sides have already met once this season in the JD Cymru Premier, with Adrian Cieslewicz’s 55th minute goal in north Wales all that separated the teams come the final whistle.
Having enjoyed a very successful 2022/23 in the JD Cymru North, the Seagulls aren’t quite having it their own way in their debut top-flight campaign.
They go into Tuesday’s game in the relegation places, following their 1-0 home defeat against Barry Town United last weekend.
As far as current form is concerned, they have only picked up one point from the last five outings, while Craig Harrison’s team have collected maximum during that period.
The New Saints will be in green and white hooped shirts, green shorts and socks, while the visitors will be wearing yellow and black shirts, black shorts and socks. The respective goalkeepers will be in all-purple and all-light blue respectively.
The officials for the game at Park Hall are Huw Jones (referee), Kenwyn Hughes (first assistant), Connah Sears (second assistant) and John Jones (fourth official).
The kick-off time is 7.45 p.m. and you can buy tickets in advance here. If you’re not at Park Hall in person, you can follow the action via TNS Radio on our Facebook page/website.
