They recently signed new deals, extending their Park Hall stay for at least another season, and now both Beau Cornish and Lewis Rees are continuing their development with loan moves to Airbus UK Broughton and Cardiff Met University.

Cornish made the temporary switch to the Airfield last week and has already hit the ground running, earning starts in both the Wingmakers’ victories against Ruthin Town and Conwy Borough.

Rees returns to Cyncoed Campus, where he enjoyed a successful end to the 2020/2021 season, finding the back of the net twice in eight appearances for Christian Edwards’ side.

Speaking after the announcements, The New Saints head coach, Anthony Limbrick, said: “It’s great that we’ve been able to get both players out on loan to Airbus and Cardiff Met.

“It will provide the opportunity for the pair to get the vital game time which allows them to improve, while they also continue to train regularly with us. We see great potential in both players.”
