Brad Young vs Flint Town United - September 15th
Making his first start since returning from injury, it didn't take Brad Young long to get on the scoresheet against Flint Town United.
In a move started by goalkeeper Nathan Shepperd, the striker found space in the box to turn home Danny Redmond's eventual cross from the left, finishing at the back post at the first time of asking.
Rory Holden vs Llandudno - September 19th
Just when it looked like the match against Llandudno would finish level, Rory Holden had other ideas.
In the sixth minute of stoppage time, the midfielder raced onto the end of Danny Redmond's defence-splitting pass, before sending a composed finish beyond the onrushing goalkeeper to snatch a 2-1 victory for his side.
Caitlin Chapman vs Aberystwyth Town Women - September 20th
The first goal from The New Saints Women to make the running this season, and team captain Caitlin Chapman was the player on target.
After some good vision from Fiona Barry, Chapman carried the ball a long way down the right flank, before eventually beating the goalkeeper at the near post with a powerful finish into the top corner.
Rory Holden vs Trefelin BGC - September 26th
His second contender of the month, this time coming in his side's 3-1 victory on the road at Trefelin BGC.
After Dominic Corness played his corner short to Redmond, the captain then squared for Holden on the edge of the penalty area. From there, the former Port Vale man left goalkeeper Scott Coughlin no chance whatsoever, as he powered a left-footed effort beyond his reach and into the top left corner.
