It was another strong performance from The New Saints this past weekend, as they defeated Trefelin BGC 3-1 to remain four points clear at the top of the Novira Cymru Premier.
Rhys Hughes, Rory Holden and Brad Young were all on target at Ynys Park in what was also a 10th consecutive league victory for the defending champions.
This coming Saturday (October 3rd), the Saints take on another of the newly-promoted clubs, this time welcoming Cambrian United to Park Hall.
The two sides have never met in league action, although they have been paired together on three occasions in cup competitions.
The most recent of those matches came at the semi-final stage of the 2024/25 FAW Welsh Cup, played at Aberystwyth Town's Park Avenue.
Craig Harrison's side triumphed 5-0 on that occasion, booking their place in a final they'd go on to win against Connah's Quay Nomads to lift the cup for a 10th time.
Liam Williams' side have been performing well on their first foray in the top flight and currently sit in eighth place with 18 points to their name.
In their most recent league fixture, they defeated Llandudno 4-3 at the M&P Group 3G to make it three wins from four, though sandwiched amongst them was a heavy 9-1 defeat on the road against Caernarfon Town.
For Saturday's match, the Saints will take to the field in green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks, while the visitors will be in yellow shirts, black shorts and yellow socks. The goalkeepers will be wearing all-orange and all-blue respectively.
Conor Charlton-Fleming is the referee, and he will be assisted by Josh Roper and Connah Sears. Adam Herbert is the fourth official, with Mark Petch and Steffan Davies the video assistant referee and assistant video assistant referee.
