The New Saints return to Novira Cymru Premier action on Friday (August 21st) with a trip to the capital to face Cardiff Met.

After back-to-back home wins against Haverfordwest County and Briton Ferry Llansawel respectively, head coach Craig Harrison will be hoping to see his side carry that form with them on the road.

Cardiff Met have made a strong start to the season themselves, winning both of their opening matches against newly-promoted Holywell Town and Airbus UK Broughton, but their 100% record came to an end at the hands of Barry Town United last Saturday.

In years gone by, Cyncoed hasn't always been the kindest of stadiums for the Saints, but aside from last season's Welsh Cup defeat there, Harrison's side have won all five previous league meetings at the venue - scoring 21 goals and conceding just two across those games.

For Friday's fixture, the Archers will take to the field in burgundy shirts and socks with navy blue shorts, while the Saints will be in green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will be in all-yellow and all-turquoise respectively.

Mark James has been appointed referee, assisted by Lewiss Edwards and Jordan Christopher. Richard Jefferies is the fourth official, with Bryn Markham-Jones (video assistant referee) and Ashley Davis (assistant video assistant referee) also part of the officiating team.

Tickets can be purchased HERE and are priced at £9 for adults, £6 for concessions (over 65s and students) and £4 for under-16s. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45pm.
