The New Saints Women are delighted to announce the signings of Hannah Snape and Abbie Iddenden, with both players joining the club following their respective departures from Wrexham.
The duo arrive at Park Hall as Genero Adran Premier winners, having played an important role in the Red Dragons side that claimed the title last season.
Snape, a former Loughborough Lightning and Solihull Moors defender, signed for Wrexham in August 2025 and made 22 appearances for Jenny Sugarman's team in the 2025/26 campaign, scoring her first goal for the club in her first start in a 3-2 victory against Barry Town United.
"I'm really excited to be joining The New Saints," said Snape. "I know TNS are a club with real ambition and I can't wait to get started and hopefully add some more silverware to my collection."
Iddenden meanwhile spent two seasons at The Rock, and while her 2025/26 campaign was hampered somewhat by injury, her performances throughout 2024/25 earned her league-wide plaudits.
After signing from Stoke City in August 2024, the midfielder went on to score 17 goals in 25 matches for Wrexham, including a hat-trick in her side's 4-2 home victory against then-champions Cardiff City, earning her a nomination for the Genero Adran Premier Player of the Season and Wrexham's own Player of the Year award.
"I’m really looking forward to joining the club and getting started with the girls. The past couple of seasons at Wrexham have been special but I’m excited for a new challenge," said Iddenden.
"The staff and players here have been very welcoming and after conversations with Kieran it’s clear the huge ambitions that the club has and I can’t wait to be part of it!"
Head coach Kieran Lee-Birch said: "Hannah is a fantastic person - having spoken with her throughout the off-season I know she is going to be a brilliant addition around the team as well as on the pitch. She has a wand of a left foot and will make us stronger from set pieces with her delivery.
“With Abbie, we were very aware there was significant interest from other clubs, including English tier three sides, and we know how close we came to missing out. She is already prolific at this level and her profile and strengths will give this team new possibilities. It is a huge signing for us."
