This Friday (February 20th), The New Saints are back in JD Cymru Premier action as they welcome Caernarfon Town to Park Hall Stadium.
Following an important 2-0 victory on the road against Colwyn Bay this past weekend, the defending champions currently hold a 12-point lead at the top of the table with seven matches left to play.
Although it's a healthy position to be in at this stage of the campaign, nobody at the club will be taking anything for granted - especially after head coach Craig Harrison challenged his squad to win all 11 of their remaining matches prior to the start of phase two.
The Saints and the Canaries have faced off three times already in both league and cup competition this season, and on all three occasions, it's been the league leaders who've emerged victorious.
The first of those games, played at the Go Goodwins Stadium on October 7th ended 3-1 in TNS' favour, while the following two, both played at Park Hall in November, saw scorelines of 3-0 and 2-0 recorded.
Since that last meeting in November, Richard Davies' side have added another two former Saints to their ranks, with 2023/24 JD Cymru Premier Golden Boot winner Brad Young, and longest serving player Adrian Cieslewicz, both making switches to the Oval in recent weeks.
For Friday’s fixture, The New Saints will be wearing their traditional home kit of green and white hooped shirts, with green shorts and socks, while the visitors will be wearing red and black striped shirts, with red shorts and red socks. Home goalkeepers will be wearing all-turquoise, with away goalkeepers in grey shirts with green shorts and socks.
Mark Petch has been appointed referee, with Steffan Davies and Josh Roper the two assistants. Nick Pratt is the fourth official, while Michael Jones will act as referee observer.
Tickets can be purchased HERE and are priced at £11 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for U18s. To speed up entry into the stadium and prevent queuing on arrival, it’s strongly advised to purchase tickets online in advance.
