This Sunday (February 15th), The New Saints Women welcome Cardiff City to Park Hall Stadium in the first match of the Championship Conference in the Genero Adran Premier.
Both team’s played each other last weekend in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup quarter-finals, where Cardiff City walked away 3-0 winners at Leckwith Stadium.
In The New Saints’ last Adran Premier match, Kieran Lee-Birch’s team claimed a 8-0 victory away at USW Sport Park against Pontypridd United, which is the Saints’ highest ever league win.
Meanwhile, the Bluebirds beat Aberystwyth Town 4-0 at Park Avenue.
When the teams last met at Park Hall in an Adran Premier fixture in the opening match of the season, the Saints won 1-0 thanks to a Chantelle Teare goal.
Looking at the league standings, Cardiff at top on 35 points, while Saints are fourth on 23 points.
For this weekend’s encounter, TNS are in the traditional green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will wear an all-orange outfit.
Iain Darbyshire’s side are set to be in an all-blue kit, and keepers in all-pink.
The officials are as follows: James Walker (referee), Katie Hannah and Ryan Hughes (assistant referees), and Mark James (fourth official).
