This weekend (January 18th), The New Saints Women welcome Cardiff City to Park Hall Stadium in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals.
The New Saints go into Sunday’s match following a 3-0 defeat against Swansea City at the M&P Group 3G in the Genero Adran Premier.
Meanwhile, the Bluebirds were in league action last night, as Iain Darbyshire’s team overcame Briton Ferry Llansawel 4-1 at Old Road Welfare Ground.
Cardiff reached this staged of the Adran Trophy after a 7-0 victory at home against Flint Town United, and a 6-0 victory at Llandarcy against Swansea City.
The holders beat Llanfair United 5-4 at Mount Field, that was followed by a 5-1 win against Pontypridd United at Park Hall
Last season, the Saints and Cardiff played in the Adran Trophy quarter-finals where the Oswestry based-team came out on top 1-0 thanks to an Olivia Buckland goal.
Looking at the Adran Premier table, Saints are fourth on 17 points, while Iain Darbyshire’s side are top on 29 points.
Kieran Lee-Birch’s TNS are to wear the traditional green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks for Sunday’s encounter, and the goalkeepers are to be in all-yellow.
Meanwhile, Cardiff will be in all-blue, and keepers are set to wear all-pink.
The officials are as follows: Aled Williams (referee), Llion Watkins and Rubie Bennett (assistant referees), and Morgan Griffiths (fourth official).
