This Sunday (January 4th), The New Saints Women travel to Llandarcy Academy of Sport to take on Swansea City in the opening match of 2026 in the Genero Adran Premier.
The New Saints go into this game following a 7-0 victory away at the M&P Group 3G against tier three team, Cambrian United, in the second round of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup (Sunday, December 21st).
On the same day, Swansea also advanced in the competition, as Yzzy Taylor’s team beat Llandudno Kia Women’s League side, Llanystumdwy, 10-0 at Llandarcy.
In the last meeting between the Saints and the Swans earlier on in the season, it was the South Wales side that walked away 2-1 winners at Park Hall Stadium.
Looking at the Adran Premier table, Saints are fourth on 17 points, with the six-time league champions just ahead in third on 21 points.
TNS will be wearing all-blue for the match in South Wales, with the goalkeepers in all-orange.
Meanwhile, the hosts are to be in a white shirt and socks with keepers in black shorts, and keepers are in all-pink.
The officials for the encounter are as follows: Robert Fulford (referee), David Badger and James Olycott (assistant referees), and Sion Jenkins (fourth official).
