This Sunday, The New Saints Women play their final match of 2025, as Mikey Harris’ team travel to South Wales to take on third tier, Cambrian United, in Bute Energy Welsh Cup Round Two at the M&P Group 3G.

Cambrian reached this stage in the competition following a 5-2 win over tier four side, Porth Harlequins, at Dines Park.

Claire O’Sullivan’s team currently sit third in the SWWGL Women Combined League on 17 points.

The second round is the furthest Cambrian have reached in the Welsh Cup.

The New Saints got to the second round after progressing past Bangor 10-0 at Park Hall Stadium (Sunday, November 23rd), which featured four goals from centre-half, Tiggy Webb.

Sunday’s Welsh Cup encounter will be the first meeting between the Rhonda Valley team and Saints.

There is a total of 15 places between the teams in the Welsh football pyramid.

Cambrian will be wearing a light blue shirt and socks with dark blue shorts for Sunday’s encounter, with goalkeepers in all-orange.

Meanwhile, Saints are to wear the traditional green and white hooped shirts with green shorts and socks, and keepers are to be in all-yellow.

The officials for the weekend match are as follows: Kris Hames (referee), Lewys Thomas and Karl Edwards (assistant referees).
