It was revealed yesterday that The New Saints Women will play Cardiff City at Park Hall Stadium in the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals.

Mikey Harris’ team beat Pontypridd United 5-1 at Park Hall in the last round (Sunday, December 14th), while the Bluebirds defeated Swansea City 6-0 at Llandarcy Academy of Sport.

The Saints and Cardiff played in the Adran Trophy last season in the quarter-finals where the Oswestry based-team came out on top 1-0 thanks to an Olivia Buckland goal (Sunday, December 8th 2024).

In the last meeting between, the teams played out a 3-3 draw at Leckwith Stadium in the Genero Adran Premier (Sunday, November 30th).

Looking at the Adran Premier table, Saints are fourth on 17 points, while Cardiff are second on 23 points.

Both semi-final ties will be played on Sunday, January 11th.
