Tomorrow afternoon (November 30th), The New Saints Women travel to the Welsh Capital to take on Genero Adran Premier defending champions, Cardiff City, at Leckwith Stadium.

The New Saints go into this encounter following a 10-0 win over Bangor at Park Hall Stadium in the first round of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup (Sunday, November 23rd).

There was also a win for the Bluebirds in the Welsh Cup, as Iain Darbyshire’s team claimed a 5-0 victory against neighbours, Cardiff Met.

It was the Saints that won the last meeting between the two sides at Park Hall 1-0 in the opening match of the season thanks to a Chantelle Teare goal (Sunday, September 7th).

Looking at the league table, City are top with 22 points, with TNS fourth on 15 points.

For tomorrow’s match, the hosts will be in all-blue, and the goalkeepers are in all-black.

Mikey Harris’ team are to wear a green and white hooped shirt with green shorts and socks, with keepers set to wear all-yellow.

The officials are as follows: Ieaun Lewis (referee), Ashley Davis and Lewys Evans (assistant referees), and Richard Jeffries (fourth official).

Tickets cost £5 for adults, and £1 for under-16s.

Kick-off is at 2 p.m, and there will be live updates on The New Saints Women’s X page (formerly Twitter) as always.
