The Bute Energy Welsh Cup Round One draw was made last night, and The New Saints Women will take on Genero Adran North side, Bangor, at Park Hall Stadium.

Bangor reached the first round this season after Llanidloes Town withdrew from their second qualifying round tie.

The Gwynedd team were in the opening round of the competition a couple of years ago before being beat 6-1 by Y Felinheli at home (October 15, 2023).

Meanwhile, The New Saints have reached a couple of Welsh Cup semi-finals, most recently last season, as the Genero Adran Trophy champions lost 1-0 to Cardiff City at Park Avenue in Aberystwyth (March 16, 2025).

It is set to be a first competitive meeting between The Saints and Bangor.

All ties will be played on Sunday, November 23rd.
