After back-to-back away games, it’s a return to Park Hall this Saturday (September 30) for the league leaders, when we welcome Pontypridd United on JD Cymru Premier MD10.
The first versus eighth encounter has a 2.30 p.m. kick-off time.
Separated by fourteen points in the table and a goal difference swing of 25, although Pontypridd have scored just twice so far this season, the defence – which is the tightest in the JD Cymru Premier – has only been beaten on five occasions, which is two less than The New Saints.
The sides have already met in the current league campaign, with the August game at the USW Sport Park ending in a narrow 1-0 victory for the visitors.
All that separated the teams come the final whistle was a 79th minute strike from Dan Williams.
With second and third (Connah’s Quay Nomads and Penybont FC) playing each other at the same time, the Park Hall fixture presents an opportunity for Craig Harrison’s side to extend the gap over at least some of the chasing pack.
TNS will be in green and white hooped shirts, green shorts and socks, while the visitors will be wearing all-orange. The respective goalkeepers will be in all-purple and all-sky blue.
Iwan Griffith is the appointed referee and he will be assisted by Daniel Beckett and James Sheils. The fourth official is James Walker and Kim Fisher the referee observer.
We look forward to seeing you at Park Hall but, as always, if you’re not there in person you can follow the action on TNS Radio, via our Facebook page/website.
