LATEST NEWS

It’s Tuesday evening action for The New Saints, when we travel to the north Wales coast on August 29. The JD Cymru Premier MD4 game against Colwyn Bay FC has a 7.45 p.m. kick-off time.

Steve Evans’ side hasn’t had the best of starts in their debut Cymru Premier season, with just one point thus far from three games. An opening 4-0 home defeat against Caernarfon Town was followed by a 1-1 on the road at Barry Town United’s Jenner Park, and a narrow 1-0 defeat in the capital, when they went down to Cardiff Metropolitan University FC.

Also with one draw so far, at home to Barry Town United, Craig Harrison has also seen his side beat Connah’s Quay Nomads 6-2 and, in the only away game to date, 1-0 against Pontypridd United.

Although this will be the first league meeting between the clubs, they did encounter one another in the 2021/2022 JD Welsh Cup semi-final. The game, played at Rhyl’s Belle Vue, saw an early goal from Danny Davies all that separated the sides come the final whistle.

Colwyn Bay will be wearing claret and blue shirts with claret shorts and socks, while the league leaders will be in all-navy blue.

The goalkeepers will be in all-sky blue and all-grey respectively.

Nick Pratt is the appointed referee and he will be assisted by Ceri Williams and Richard Dolphin. Conor Charlton-Fleming is the fourth official and Stephen Hames the referee observer.

We look forward to seeing you at 4 Crosses Arena (sponsored by 4 Crosses Construction Limited) but, if you can’t make it in person, you can follow the action on TNS Radio, which can be accessed via our Facebook page/website.
